Weekly Shenanigans

This week, I read some books. Namely 17399160 and 22032788. Snow Like Ashes was good, and When Reason Breaks was too, but a little less so than SLA. Reviews soon of course!

On the Blog:

There are still two giveaways going on too!

Up Next:

Next week is Christmas, so of course I’d like to get to my review for My True Love Gave to Me, among other things. I haven’t really decided what I am doing for Christmas yet, so I suppose your guess is as good as mine. Also, I have made zero progress in the wrapping arena, so that’s not good. If by next week, I still haven’t wrapped gifts… well, consider me a complete fail. Also, stay tuned for Snark From the Ark, because Holly @ The Fox’s Hideaway and I will come up with some words for the mid-season finale by then. Maybe. Because holy crap.

How was your week? Do you have any plans for Christmas, if you celebrate it? If you don’t, have any fun plans if you at least have a day off? And most importantly, did you watch The 100 mid-season finale!?

    • I LOVE the international cover, I had to buy it. The US cover is okay, but not special. This one is SO pretty, it even has a gold bookmark thingy in it 🙂 And, the stories are really cute so far!

  1. My True Love Gave To Me is gorgeous <3 I love the UK edition! I really hope you enjoy Something Real. I have a lot of family coming over for Christmas! I hope you have a great Christmas! 🙂

    • I LOVE the UK edition. So, so pretty. I absolutely cannot wait to read Something Real, after reading I’ll Meet You There, I want ALL the Heather Demetrios! And thank you, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas too!

  2. I think I’m the only one who didn’t do a book outlet order! I liked Storm Siren, I’m pretending it was a stand alone. 🙂 Congrats on getting Dove Arising from First to read! I look forward to hearing what you think. Ooh, Snow like Ashes sounds so good! I have to watch the 100 today! I’m afraid though. Good luck getting your presents ready!

    • Oh this wasn’t even my Black Friday one! This one was stuff I found AFTER BF. The worst part is, I am already stocking my cart for the Boxing Day sale. Problems, my friend.

BE AFRAID about The 100. I cannot wait to freak out with everyone about it this week! EEP!

  3. I need to put She Is Not Invisible and Storm Siren on my Christmas wish list. You have a nice selection of books this week! I really enjoyed Snow Like Ashes, too. I want the next book. My entire HUGE family is gathering at my parents house for Christmas. I have relatives coming in from out of state and I have other relatives I have to visit in the next week or so. All my presents are bought and wrapped and I’m working SO MUCH…very long, late hours. It’s definitely cut into my reading and blogging time. I also have a cold now, which is slowing me down. This time of year I never get enough sleep, so I always get sick. Hopefully I’ll be better next week. Have a wonderful Christmas!

    • Storm Siren was only $1.99 on Kindle when I got it! Oh wow, you sound SO busy! I cannot even imagine. I mean, I am tired just thinking about the stuff you have to do. Hopefully it’ll slow down for you soon!

  4. I love ebook sales, I tend to go crazy with them and wont stop until I have them all. Even if I already own them in another format.

I really want to read Lailah and Something Real. You have a great haul!

And AHH I am so happy whatshisface is gone! (referring to The 100)

  5. WOW YOU JUST KEEP ON BUYING MORE AND MORE BOOKS. My True Love Gave To Me sounds adorable, so I’ll be looking out for that since it’s ALMOST christmas and it would be weird if you reviewed it after huh? (lol peer pressure). Also I’ve been interested in Something Real and She Is Not Invisible, and the Truth About Alice.

    HAVE AN AMAZING CHRISTMAS SHANNON!

    • Val, I need to be stopped. It is insanity. I did review MTLGTM, because it would be super weird to review it in February 😉 It posts in 15 minutes! Hope you have an amazing Christmas too!

    • BookOutlet is addicting. So you will now give them all your money. It’s a problem. I am excited to read The Truth About Alice. It looks delightfully short too, which I am a fan of 😉

    • I am excited to read Uninvited for sure. I haven’t read anything by Jessica Khoury either (I had no idea that Kalahari was the third in a trilogy, it just looked fun, haha) so now I have to go find the other books! Hope you have a great week too 🙂
