Top Ten Tuesday is a feature hosted by That Artsy Reader GirlThis week’s topic is: Most Anticipated Book Releases for the First Half of 2021

And now… books!

Fun fact: I copied this as a draft from last year’s post, which was copied from that last year’s post, which was copied from the year before that, and so on as one does. Look, I could pretend to be sorry, but I am not. At all.  So I am taking the easy way out, I barely changed this paragraph even!  I’ll still link all the books and such, because I am awesome. If you want to see all the 2021 books I added to my TBR, here they are!

I also only used books with covers, because apparently I am superficial like that. Even three years later, when I first said that. Also, obviously some of these fit in more than one category, so I just… picked one.  Also I absolutely forgot some.

The Debuts

The (not many) Sequels

The New Series

The Standalones (includes books that might be series but I am not a psychic, so ?‍♀️)

The Adult Section

The Ones I’ve Read (and loved!)

(This is impressive as hell, considering I am only counting 4 Stars and Above here. Get ready!)

So let’s talk about 2021! What are some of your goals? Books you’re dying for?

  1. You have all the beautiful covers. Girls With Rebel Souls is a big one for me since I love that series. The Effort is one I just wrote down today after seeing it somewhere else. Late Night at the telegraph Club I absolutely want just for the cover alone. Where secrets Lie- gimme. Near the Bone because Christina Henry. How do you FIND all these? A History of What Comes Next- another primo cover. Yeesh. Small Town…

I ought to have just copied off your paper for my list. 🙂

  2. Henry’s and Solomon’s new releases were both stupendous! I really enjoyed This is Not the Jess Show too. The twist was more than I thought it would be, and I was totally sucked into it. Hitchcock’s and Solomon’s new YA books are musts for me. I would love the book gods to grant me access, and I am excited for Prepped. It sounds really promising. Hope you love all of these.

Oh my goodness….so many great looking books! I’m just hoping to read 50+, and get some of these books I’ve owned by never read OFF my shelves.

  4. I love all the categories, and I want so many of these!!!! Ah, 2021 is shaping up to be such a great book year. I broke mine into a few categories too, and now way did I stick to just 10 books. LOL

  5. Ah! I need to read Everything That Burns. I wasn’t so sure about the rushed ending of Enchantee so I’m glad you enjoyed it.
House of Hollow and The Girl from Shadow Springs are two that I want to read also. I love this collage of images. It makes me excited to take a look at some books I’ve never heard of.

  6. Ohhh this is absolutely amazing Shannon and thank you for putting in the hard work! I’m absolutely pants when it comes to keeping up with new releases, so this post is heaven sent! There’s so many books I’ve forgotten about that are being released and also sequels! I always forget those and end up with a TBR full of half finished series.

  7. I kind of didn’t want to look at this post, because my poor TBR. But I clicked the thing. xD My TBR hates me, and I can’t even blame it at this point! LOl.

Soooo many good books on your list, many of which are already on my radar that I’m super looking forward to. I hadn’t heard of them before, but I definitely need to read The Girl from Shadow Springs and Daughter of Sparta now! They both sound fantastic.
