December is festive, with all kinds of holidays (and hopefully at least some time off if you don’t celebrate!) and before you know it, it’ll be a new year, new start! And we’ll be posting next year’s sign ups… you know, when we get around to it 😉 (Fun fact- mere hours after I wrote this, Nicole told me she’d already done the thing. So color me impressed!)
The winner of our October discussion challenge giveaway was Jane @ Janepedia ! I bought her a book from her wishlist, so I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but HINT, I read it and gave it like 4.5 stars!
If you don’t know what this challenge is all about or haven’t signed up yet (but want to), head on over to the challenge sign-up page to learn more!
Even if you’d rather not join, we hope you’ll stop by occasionally to check out the MANY discussion posts that are being linked up here – there’s lots of great discussions going on!
We’re no longer giving discussion ideas each month (because not that many people seemed to need them), BUT you can check out our list of the topics we’ve suggested over the past two years if you need some inspiration. There are LOTS of ideas there, and I’m sure you’ll find one you love!
This month’s featured blogger (as chosen by Shannon) is Elley @ Elley the Book Otter. Here are some that Shannon extra loved! (But she has a ton of good ones, so be sure to browse through!)
- She posted a thoughtful discussion about what to do with old ARCs
- She shares her favorite tropes in romance novels
(Commenting on any of the discussions at Elley the Book Otter will give you extra entries in the giveaway, by the way—if you already commented on them when they went up originally, that counts too!)
Shannon wants you to be merry this holiday season, no matter if/what you celebrate! So pick any old thing you want- preorder, backlist, I don’t care. It honestly doesn’t even have to be a book as long as The Book Depository or Amazon ships it, up to $17 value. I feel extra nice right now Idk.

Make sure to link up all of your December discussion posts here. This linky and the December giveaway will be open until January 7th (to give people a little extra time to link up – just in case you’re disorganized like we are). If, by some chance, you forget to link up a post this month, you can add it to next month’s linky (but no duplicates, please).
