Welcome to May’s Monthly Minutes at Midnight!
Here’s the deal: I’ll share the books I’ve obtained, posts of interest from others, giveaways I have happening, and just general random shenanigans. You know I love a shenanigan. Also, covers all link to Goodreads, because I am awesome. As always, I link up with the Wrap Up Round Up, too!
The Books
From Publishers:
Thanks so much!!
eARCs:
Ummm. Whoops? Who is staging the intervention? Huge thanks to the publishers for these lovelies! I am quite excited for them!
Purchased:

Love Galaxy ♦ One Level Down (I found a blurb from my review on the Amazon listing, so you know I bought it!) ♦ Nine Goblins ♦ Young World ♦ Seek the Traitor’s Son ♦ The Last Contract of Isako
And to think, I haven’t read a single book I own this year.
Won/Gifted/No Idea But It Showed Up at My House:

Thanks, Amber!!
Shenanigans Since Last Time:
I read 12 books this month. That was not enough because I request too many books, see.
Pretty good batch, this.

Fancy & New Since Last I Saw You!
I love looking at pretty covers! So here are some new ones that I have fallen in love with since our last update!
Pretty covers are pretty.
And a bonus! Covers that are not pretty per se, but I dig ’em regardless:
Things we need to talk about at this juncture:
- We are so very close to summer! I have mixed emotions, of course. Obviously, I need a break desperately, but I am going to miss my students a lot! Some of them have been with me for two years, so it is bittersweet, of course. After school ends, Lena and I are going to Sci-Fi Valley Con, so that is exciting, I will be back with updates!
- This month, we… Idk heh. Lena finished track and the play, which was Clue, which she did behind the scenes work on. Sam finished elementary school and I am not okay. We went to a Banana Ball game and that is now the only way I shall ever consume baseball again. Work was hectic and busy but also chaotic and fun because it was the end of the year. That’s about it!

Have a great June, loves! You have anything fun to share?
P.S.-I think I got email to work, but I could not import my list so… resubscribe if you miss ’em!

I’m looking forward to your thoughts on Hollow Lake – I have mixed feelings about it.
Cheers to Sam who’s entering a new phase of his education!
I hope SciFi Valley Con is exciting, and I’m already looking forward to your updates…
Enjoy your soon-to-be break!
Oh I’m jealous of the Banana Ball game! I didn’t get tickets here and then when they had a few more pop up last minute, there were none together that my mom could really walk to with all the stairs, so I didn’t get to go again this year. I was so ready for school to be over! But now I’m also ready to start my new job, but I am looking forward to some time off. You got so many good books! Here’s hoping June is good for both of us!

I hope you have an awesome summer!
I’m glad the end of school was so much fun. Enjoy your summer, Shannon, and I can’t wait to hear about Sci Fi Valley Con😁
What on earth is banana ball?? Also, you were blurbed alongside Diana Peterfreund and Sarah Beth Durst! *shrieks”
You kids are becoming proto-adults! That’s exciting. Terrifying? Terriciting. Congratulations, either way!
