I will be giving away a book of choice this month, because frankly I do not have anything laying around to give, so my loss is your gain! ?
Welcome to the December 2020 Of Books Giveaway Hop, which I co-host with Lonna @ FLYLēF!
The election for me because working at the hospital has been so so stressful!
I got my dream tattoo!
A GOOD thing that happened this year was my boyfriend and I went camping a lot.
“2020 is finally almost over, but I am scared to be excited about it ha. What is a GOOD thing that happened this year?” A horrible, horrible person who is a lifelong criminal is just that little bit closer to being indicted, prosecuted, and sent to prison.
My youngest got engaged and accepted to medical scool.
The best thing about this year is that because of the pandemic, I’ve been able to spend A LOT of time with my 10 year old. Yes, it’s been HARD with remote learning. There’s been yelling, crying and tears from both of us. But I get to really see her go as a person
I got through the year with none of my family becoming infected!
A good thing from 2020: working from home meant lots and lots of time with my husband. Bonus. 🙂
stay in contact with family
One of the best things that happened this year for me was also the election and getting rid of that bully elected in 2016.
even though mr wonderful was let go due to covid, i didn’t want him going into an unsafe work environment so it’s okay. i agree with danielle…we have a lot to look forward to now that there is a change in leadership. we just have to keep on them to do the right things

The best thing that’s happened this year is reconnecting with my sister.
I’m retiring at the end of the year.
The election result was the best!
I think for me, the good stuff was that I actually had a pretty good summer… The restrictions here (England) weren’t too bad and the rates locally were super low so we got out and did stuff. The rest of the year kinda sucked but with occasional bright spots, lol.
The pandemic changed our lives — my husband got a different job, and we ended up moving back to our old neighborhood. It was a great change for us!
Two of my kids made it through two major surgeries.
We bought our first house!
The election for sure! Also folklore saved the summer honestly lol
One good thing that’s happened this year is that I’ve been able to volunteer with some wonderful organizations.
I discovered a new book series, and my partner got a cat!
FaceTime with my grandson is always fun!
I got pregnant, so 2020 wasn’t all bad for me.
The history making vice president win for Kamala Harris.
I hate that most of this year was Covid restricted which ruined all travel for my family. I live alone so I couldn’t see family for most of the year….I talked to the kids (elementary school aged) on the phone. I was able to shop on Amazon for them, so that was nice.
#2 Ana Jolene does not have her link correct!
For 5 months, I watched grandsons(ages 18 months and 8) so both parents could work from home and SIL went to law school remotely. I learned about Zoom meetings for school and a Virtual Book Club from freshfiction.com meets Wednesdays at 8 PM EST. My SIL did all the in-person grocery shopping while I was 10 hours away from my apartment. The vacation to Cape Cod at the end was fun and we finally ate out at restaurants and went for swims. Then I worked the Ballot Dept for the Board of Election for 3 months
I am going to be an aunt for the first time!
This was such a bad year.. Ugh! But what got me through it was my baby nephew who made this year bearable with his infectious smile and energy. Love him to bits!!
