Top Ten Tuesday is a feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is: Favorite Book Quotes
Because I like quotes, I didn’t want to skip this topic. Nor did I want to just list quotes. So… here, take a quiz, and we’ll pretend it isn’t super narcissistic for me to want you to know which books my favorite quotes come from 😀
Also, here is the full list since I know the stupid quiz cut off parts of the words and I am so tired I physically cannot redo them all. Or if you just want to cheat? Sure. Shannon’s Quotes
Are any of these on your list? Do we have anything in common (even common books)? And of course, how did you do on the quiz?!

Oooo this was so much fun, Shannon! Considering how I haven’t been reading much lately, I’m surprised I did better than I thought I did (which was still bad, but I expected a 1 or 2?), haha.
5/14 but I just guessed most of them haha. I really love the second quote!
The only one I guessed is “Everything, Everything.” 😉 But in my defense, I’m pretty sure I’ve read very few of these.
Super fun spin on today’s topic, Shannon. Happy Top Ten Tuesday.
Fabulous way to tackle the list! I got 4! But I hadn’t read the others! They are definitely on my radar though.
I love quizzes so I had to give it a try but my score is horrendous! I need quotish help. I love Serpent King so luckily I got that one right! Great twist on TTT.
So I got 5/14 and officially suck at this. Apparently. Still, fun quotes. 🙂 And I didn’t cheat (yay). The Catching Fire one is of course a favorite, but I like the quotes from Delirium and Into the Still Blue a lot…
This was awesome 🙂 and unique. I am addicted to book quotes , Mine is https://thephantomparagrapher.blogspot.co.nz/2018/03/top-ten-tuesday-book-quotes.html
I got 9 out of 14 which is pretty decent since I haven’t read a lot of these books haha.
Love the turn you took with this weeks topic. 🙂
Ahaha I only got about half right. I haven’t read most of these books so I just guessed. But awesome quiz though! I love book quotes. <3 Quotes from The Serpent King slay me every time.
Wow, I failed pretty miserably lol. Only got 3 right. But I’ve only read like three of the books in this post. Oddly enough those were not the ones I got right, haha.
You are so awesome. I love this. I got 8, which is good, because I got the ones from books I read. Everybody is trying to kill me with that quote from TSK. *crying*
YAS I love quizzes! Also I got 10/14…which isn’t too bad?! I feel ashamed I missed the Catching Fire one. I have totally failed you there. ??
Well I haven’t read any of these, I like The Serpent King’s quote most. Thanks for the fun quiz!! I got 9 correct!!
Great quotes! I only got 6 right haha I might’ve sort of cheated because I know you haven’t read golden son. This was fun you should do it again!
Great topic idea and spin! I love these quotes!
I haven’t read most of these books, so I did terrible. All of these are very excellent quotes, though. I like #9.
Ooh fun! I got six right. Some I knew, and others I just guessed well (though they were usually books I WANT to read, so I knew a bit about them.) I do love book quotes. I need to keep track of them more.

9 of 14! I feel good with that. Some great quotes too!
Nice way of doing this week’s topic! I only got 6/14 and most of them I guessed, the only one I actually knew was the Darker Shade of Magic one (one of my favourites too, though it didn’t make my list this week as I already had two other Shades of Magic quotes), as I have it on my door at Uni!

#1 – from everything, everything?
#5- a darker shade of magic?
these are guesses, no clue on the others as I have not read almost all of these books.
have a lovely day.
I need to get #3 mounted on a plaque to hang in my office to remind me. 😀
Here is out Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!
I love this! I got 8 right, which I’m surprised by!
Oh my gosh, this was SO MUCH FUN. Although, I haven’t heard of most of the books on this and I actually got a 6/14 sheerly because I am very good at guessing. Or maybe very bad, since I still got less than half right? xD I squeed just a little bit (all right, a lot) at the Shadowsong quote. I KNEW THAT ONE, and I love it, and gosh I love those characters.
I gave up halfway through because I got every single one I did wrong….. hahah
I failed this test. I got 4/14. Lol! It was a lot of fun though. Thanks for taking the time to put this together!
I love this so much! It’s so creative and fun, and I love the quotes you chose!!!

I did horribly on this quiz (3/14), but I haven’t read the majority of the books. I think the ones I got right were actually just guesses even if I had read the book.
Regardless of my awful score, I thought the quiz was a really unique and fun idea!
great idea with the quiz!! Love some of you fav quotes (i think I might even have a few of the same) Great post 🙂
6/14! Not bad considering I hadn’t read most of these books. LOL!
You came up with such a clever way to include quotes. I need to visit your blog more often, because you are really awesome. I miss your face, dude. *sappy moment*
*coughs and walks away*
I got 7 out of 14, which is pretty hilarious considering I have not read most of these books. I promise that I am working on reading more things. By the way, you made me steal my Ahdieh books back from my sister’s room. I have been thinking about her style for a bit and how it is very different from what I’m used to. I only read Wrath and the Dawn, but I am thinking of continuing with the duology and starting the duology too.
It’s funny that you included Into the Still Blue as an option to one of these questions. I am reading the first book in that trilogy right now and it is so cute and interesting. I just want Roar and Liv to have their own stories. Cinder is breaking my heart. Many feelings right now.
You always do the best things. I have failed this quiz miserably– I mean, I couldn’t even get The Hunger Games quote even though I was leaning towards picking it (I didn’t). I have failed, but I loved doing it because SO CREATIVE AND FUN!! You’re the best 🙂
Ahh I loved this quiz Shannon 😀 Though my score is just 7/14, I am happy considering I haven’t even read any of these books 😀 But the first one was pretty easy 😛

You really made that topic fun! I got 4/14 so I hope you’re sufficiently impressed. But I got the THG one right, so that should count for something (I thought it sounded like something Haymitch would say, but I googled it and saw it was Katniss after all). Hope all is well with you xx
Ooh this is such a fun way to do this week’s topic Shannon, I love it! ❤ I had a lot of fun doing it, even remember some of the quotes I missed or have forgotten 😀
Oooh, I love a quiz! And color me impressed that you made a quiz. LOL I kind of sucked at it (8/14) but that’s okay. I just like guessing. 🙂 I’ve only read a couple of these: Everything Everything, The Serpent King (I can’t believe I missed that one Gah!), Fangirl, Shatter Me… maybe a couple more. This was awesome, Shannon!
I got 9/14… better than I was expecting since my memory is terrible but this was so much fun!
Thanks for sharing!

8/14, but most of those were guesses. xD I so, so appreciate you including a quote from The Forbidden Wish, because that is such an underrated book!
9/14 UGH I COULD hAVE MAYBE GOTTEN THEM ALL BUT I DIDN’T
Why do you come up with the best posts?
Love that! 🙂
i loved this post! what a great and creative idea 🙂
i got 8/14 which is pretty poor but i had a lot of fun doing it 😀
I got 9/14, which I was pretty happy about. Of course, a few of them, I just guessed based off of what I thought you’d quote (like Serpent King, which I STILL haven’t read). Still, not too shabby. I love this so much more than just a list of quotes—great idea!!
Well, this was awesome. I got 8/14, and I was surprised that I missed a few I’ve read, but had some lucky guesses (or process of elimination) on others. 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 11 were the only ones I actually KNEW knew. May I assume that the “wrong” choices are also books you love? Because I’ll totally go add them all to my TBR if they’re all books you recommend!
Omg! I did horrible haha. But in my defense, I’ve only read a few of these books.
