See, you shouldn’t have mentioned random and dog in the same sentence, because you won’t get me to shut up now. I’ll talk about my little furbaby. The dog has flatulence. He also burps, which I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dog do before and it’s not as if he drinks Coke. Where do dogs get all that wind? But he likes to fart while he sits beside you on the couch and he’s aware hes farting too, because even before you realise he’s farted, he starts sniffing the person next to him so it looks like you’ve done it.
So whenever I fart, who the bloody hell am I supposed to blame now?

My dog is scared of window cleaners, it’s hilarious, he barks at them every time they clean our windows.

My sister and I always talk on the phone while we drive to work. It started out with us just discussing things then became a regular thing lol. Now it feels weird if I don’t talk to her before I get to work.

I’m currently sitting at the table that’s between our living room and kitchen. To my right is a little basket full of seed packets– basil, cilantro, peppermint, catnip, wheatgrass (for the cats), marigolds, and so on– as well as four MiracleGro Growable pod things. EVERY FREAKING TIME I see these things I think, “Hmm, I should really plant these seeds.” Yet here they sit. …Yup!

Hello Shannon, my poor dog passed away last week. She was 14 years old. She was the best dog and friend. She lived a good life. We miss her.

This week has been pretty bad. I had to call an ambulance for my mom Tuesday morning because she was having chest pains. She’s okay but has been in the hospital since due to gall bladder swelling and a colon infection. They were going to remove her gall bladder this morning but decided against it at this moment and hopefully treat it with medication. Her 39th wedding Anniversary would have been this Saturday if my dad didn’t pass 3 years ago. All prayers would be welcome. Thank you so much for the giveaway. Books are my escape always.
We are taking a weekend trip to Washington, DC. I’m so excited for my kids to see the great memorials.
Hello there! Had a rough week at work. I wish I could stand up for myself more whenever I feel like I am being belittled. Sometimes I feel the need to say something about it so thank god there’s the internet for me to rant anonymously. 🙂 Hopefully today, tomorrow and the coming days ahead would be better. Something random… pretty much everything in my life is random! I was born in Zimbabwe, live in South Africa but am currently spending more time in Indonesia where my husband works. How’s that for random! 🙂
I like sunny days and cool nights, so I can enjoy a cup of tea in the evening.
The weather here is so indecisive. One minute it rain so hard, then the next it’s like an oven in here. How’s the weather there?

You want random and how everything is going and pets I’ll give you that. Lets see, on Sunday I colored a picture of Dopey and tomorrow I have Stress Relief Adult Coloring Group (Yay!) My state, Wisconsin, currently has over 8 counties under a state of emergency due to major. Thankfully my county, Fond du Lac, is not one of them. I just picked up my 3 holds from the library yesterday, Seasons 3 and 4 of Night Court and Damned Lies and Statistics: Untangling Numbers from the Media, Politicians, and Activists, and I say yesterday because I’m typing this all at 2:30 in the morning while listening to Weird Al on YouTube.
I love JAFF and there is actually 3 books coming out this month. They are The Secrets of Netherfield Abbey by Rose Fairbanks, Chaos Comes To Longbourn by Victoria Kincaid and Impertinent Strangers by P. O. Dixon. I have 2 cats, Precious and Angel. They are both 11 and are going to be 12 in September.

The humidity is awful during the summer
just finished mowing—3 hours riding around and around on a tractor and it’s hotter than crap. Going to finish with a dip in the pool in my undies cause if I go in to change I’ll never come back out
My dog is fine, she is sound asleep on her blanket on her favourite chair, she has had a busy day mooching as we had friends round for lunch which means scraps, also I tried Beetroot and Apple bread today and it was lovely!! Random enough!?
Today it was nice and sunny where I live 🙂 I walked my niece to her preschool. They were doing arts and crafts. It was just for a week, for the summer. How are you doing today? 🙂
Four wacky cats, six home schooled kids, a hard working hubby, weather hot enough to peel paint…my life at the current time. LOL Nothing exciting. Just exhausting.
I hate that I woke up this morning thinking it was a weekday(it’s a Saturday)and that I had overslept and was late for my class. Total panic. Plus, watching 8 straight hours of Bob’s Burgers will cause you to dream of nothing but Bob’s Burgers characters and plot lines.
I’ve just started my first blog about books and I’m excited, your blog are one of my inspirations! <3 Now I'm trying hard to squeeze in my time to read, bookstagram, write book reviews, take pictures and watch TV shows. Haha.

I just came back from vacation.. full week of doing nothing!!
We just got back from a family reunion with my grandfather, and my head is swimming with stories about all of my dead ancestors (and their neighbors, cousins, and hunting dogs). It was awesome hearing all of Grandpa’s stories, but I think I’m in processing overload right now.
I’m a writer, bibliotaphe, stationery addict, penpaller, lipstic junkie, gym beast, wife, mother, and warrior. Aside from that I’m passionately in love with Boston Terriers, ink stamps, and coffee. Books are in there, too. My collection totals 4,000+! Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

It’s so hot where I live right now…in the 90’s, but feels like 100 or so because of the humidity…and I just want to live in a pool.

I have been binge-watching TV shows on Free Form since I sprained a muscle or tendon in my foot. Pretty Little Liars and a new show called Dead of Summer. And as I have been watching, I have been seeing previews for the next Harry Potter weekend, which is this upcoming weekend (to celebrate the birthdays of both HP and JK Rowling). YAY!
Being in South Carolina, it is REALLY hot and humid right now. But my cat is cuddling with me for the time being 🙂
I’m so wishing for winter right now…I know I’m probably one of the only people who hate summer but the winter months can’t come soon enough 🙂
My dog’s doing all right. He is going to be 15 in August. He’s a miniature pinscher that prefers people food to his dog food. I keep telling him he has to eat his own. We have big arguments over that. Not sure who wins.
Both of my dogs are wonderful! We went to the beach for a couple of days for my birthday, and I missed them terribly. When we picked them up this morning, they were so happy it made my day all over again. They are the best little dogs in the world!
