Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. It gives us a chance to share with readers what we bought, borrowed, swapped, won or got for review each week. I also decided that since I do a weekly recap, it really is just good sense to link up with The Sunday Post, hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer, because that is such a fun link up as well!
This is going to be short and sweet because I was at BEA having basically the best time ever meeting the best people ever. More on that next week!
The (non-BEA) Books:
Apple and Rain by Sarah Crosson thanks to Xander @ Forever Bookish for the #booksfortrade!

Fun in the Blogosphere:
I am certain that the blogosphere was lovely this week, but I missed it. I will add extra posts next week, promise!
I love BEA time because I can live vicariously through everyone! So glad you had a great time. It’s definitely on my someday list. I know this week can’t compete with BEA but have a great one!
Aw thanks so much! I really, really hope you are able to get there one day- it is very, very worth it!
I was only there for one day and I’m still exhausted. I can’t imagine how you did it! I know I missed out on some books I’ve been waiting for since I only did one day. I hope you got everything you wanted. Anyway, The Game of Love and Death is supposed to be fantastic! Enjoy your new books, get some rest and I’m looking forward to hearing about your experiences!
Michelle @ Michelle’s Minions
Ohh the exhaustion is real! I was there for it all and MAN I am beat. The worst part? Dragging 62+ books, plus all my clothes and such, to the bus station. Bwhaha, my suitcase only made it to my front porch before it died a sad and tragic death 😉
Thanks so much, I cannot wait to get my recap posts up!!
I’m glad you were having such a good time, I’ll be looking forward your post, including how everything went well after your were a teeeeeeeny bit worried before 😉 Relax, enjoy your week-end and have a great week !
Thank you SO much! It was seriously amazing, and I cannot wait to share it all with you guys!!
Ohh, you have Unwind! One of my favourite religious-y books. The Game of Love and Death sounds absolutely fascinating just from the title, and the spine looks pretty too. (You can see I’m such a superficial person.) Looking forward to hearing about BEA!
Unwind is AMAZZZZZINNNG. Val got it for me, SIGNED by Neal!! EEEEP! And thanks so much, I cannot wait to get a recap post up!!
Looking forward to your BEA posts am so excited to see what everyone got 🙂 Have a great week 🙂
Thanks so much! I will be (hopefully) getting them all done this week!
I have BEA envy!
And I love the stack of non-BEA titles!
Deb
Aww I know, I remember that feeling last year! I hope you can go next year!
All the Rage was SUCH A GREAT BOOK. I hope you enjoy it!! Welcome back from BEA. Can’t wait to hear all about it.
Aw thanks! I am super excited to read that one, so I am glad you enjoyed it! And I promise, lots of BEA to come 😉
Glad BEA was awesome and can’t wait for your post on it this week. You non-BEA haul is pretty awesome. I also won All the Rage – so yay for winning!.
Aww thanks!! Congrats for winning a copy too! And I will be posting BEA stuff tomorrow- and for a few days, probably 😉
Ah! Such amazing books! So jealous that you were at BEA! 🙁
I really want to read All The Rage by Courtney Summers, it sounds phenomenal! Have a lovely week!
Thanks so much! BEA was really wonderful, I hope you get the chance to go one day!
Someday BEA! I had a great time at ConQuesT in Kansas City last weekend. It was a blast and I met so many people.
Oooh I am glad you had such a fun weekend! Perhaps you can go next year in Chicago? It is so worth it!
Chicago, you say. Hrm, that MIGHT be doable.
Awesome non-BEA Haul. I hope you love all your new books this week. It was great to finally meet you in person this week at BEA.
Grace @ Books of Love
Thanks so much! I am so glad I got to meet you too! It was funny, because the first day (Tuesday) I was so confused and had no idea what I was even doing, other than panicking, and I am sure I made a stellar impression 😉
BEA BEA BEA BEA YAY I WAS THERE WITH YOU.
So looking forward to all the recap posts hahaha
Bwahahah indeed you were!! There will be LOTS of recapping because I ummm talk too much.
I keep meaning to read Unwind. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it. 🙂
Unwind is AMAZING. One of my all time favorite series. So unique, so messed up… I just adore Neal Shusterman, and you should really read it!
I’m so happy we got to meet!!!!!!!!!!! Even if it was super short. I hope you had a lovely time at BEA, dear. Excited to see your recap!
I am too! Of course, it would have been nice to have more time, but my goodness, there is so much going on! I hope you had a lovely time as well 😀
I’m glad you had an awesome time at BEA! Hopefully I’ll be able to make it there one year and we can meet 😀 I can’t wait to see all the books you got!
YAY! I really hope you can, it is just so, so much fun, and absolutely worth it! I don’t even know HOW to explain all the books, so it may take a few days hahah
Ooh. Nice haul from BEA. I hope to attend if they ever hold it in my area. Looking forward to hearing more about it!
Well, that wasn’t from BEA, that was my non-BEA haul. My BEA haul is a mess 😉 It’s in Chicago next year, if that helps your cause any!
My first BEA was epic, and exhausting, wonderful and frustrating. My second was exhausting and confusing. I didn’t go to any cons last year. I am not sure they make the con I need or want.
I love books and story but am not a fan girl or a publisher or a book seller. I am a book blogger and would love a con geared toward workshops. Maybe the blogger con worked well this year. I would love to know if it did.
Aw the second one does NOT sound like it was fun, and I am sorry to hear that 🙁 I didn’t go to the Blogger Con, but I really did enjoy BEA in general. It was just so fun to meet so many people, and see all the books, and just have fun! I really hope you do find something that works for you!
Your book haul looks amazing this week but that’s nothing new 🙂 I hope you enjoy the read All The Rage – I thought the concept and message was pretty powerful. Look forward to your BEA posts!
Aw thanks! I do need to read All the Rage but um… I kind of have an even bigger book surplus than before now 😉
It’s really wonderful that you had such a good time, enjoy your new books!!!
Thanks so much!! 😀
EEE you got All the Rage! I’m so happy for you 😀 I know you were really hoping to get a copy! And I’m also so drooling over The Game of Love and Death – I keep wanting to get it but I tell myself no because I won’t be able to read it right away. Maybe this summer!
Can’t wait to see all the BEA stuff 😉
Aw thanks 🙂 I was pretty excited to get a copy (or three. I got three, and I have no idea why so there’s that.) And I don’t know WHY I bought a book right before BEA, so silly! I mean, obviously reading it isn’t going to happen anytime soon! Silliness!
So jealous of your trip to BEA. Can’t wait to read all your posts about it, and see just what you might be giving away. Check out my Sunday Post in the link below.
Aww I know, it is so hard when everyone else is there! I am trying to figure out how I want to do the giveaway- I am close to 1K on Bloglovin’, so I think I will combine the two (hopefully, if I get there!) somehow!!
Ahh, I hope you had a completely epic time at BEA, Shannon! I’m still reeling in jealousy(but seriously, I need pictures of all the books(more than just the one’s I’ve seen by stalking you on Twitter)!).
This week was mildly exciting for me, dyed my hair a new color, did some baking, and a few other things. Okay, it was fairly mediocre but I tried to make it sound interesting! Haha. =)
Can’t wait to read all about your BEA trip!
I really, really did! It was SO AMAZING. I really didn’t think it would be as fun as it was. I really hope you get to go one day! What color did you dye your hair? I love your hair dyeing adventures!
One of these years I will get to BEA! Sounds like you had a great time! 🙂
I really, really hope you do! It was amazing, and everyone should get the chance to go at least once, it is worth it!
