This Week At Midnight (63)

TWAM

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. It gives us a chance to share with readers what we bought, borrowed, swapped, won or got for review each week. I also decided that since I do a weekly recap, it really is just good sense to link up with The Sunday Post, hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewerbecause that is such a fun link up as well!

This is going to be short and sweet because I was at BEA having basically the best time ever meeting the best people ever. More on that next week!

The (non-BEA) Books:

I am certain that the blogosphere was lovely this week, but I missed it. I will add extra posts next week, promise!

I am back, and BEA was epic. I will post all about it, have some giveaways, all kinds of stuff! And of course, show you the BOOKS! How was your week?

  1. I was only there for one day and I’m still exhausted. I can’t imagine how you did it! I know I missed out on some books I’ve been waiting for since I only did one day. I hope you got everything you wanted. Anyway, The Game of Love and Death is supposed to be fantastic! Enjoy your new books, get some rest and I’m looking forward to hearing about your experiences!

    • Ohh the exhaustion is real! I was there for it all and MAN I am beat. The worst part? Dragging 62+ books, plus all my clothes and such, to the bus station. Bwhaha, my suitcase only made it to my front porch before it died a sad and tragic death 😉

Thanks so much, I cannot wait to get my recap posts up!!

  2. I’m glad you were having such a good time, I’ll be looking forward your post, including how everything went well after your were a teeeeeeeny bit worried before 😉 Relax, enjoy your week-end and have a great week !

  3. Ohh, you have Unwind! One of my favourite religious-y books. The Game of Love and Death sounds absolutely fascinating just from the title, and the spine looks pretty too. (You can see I’m such a superficial person.) Looking forward to hearing about BEA!

  4. My first BEA was epic, and exhausting, wonderful and frustrating. My second was exhausting and confusing. I didn’t go to any cons last year. I am not sure they make the con I need or want.

I love books and story but am not a fan girl or a publisher or a book seller. I am a book blogger and would love a con geared toward workshops. Maybe the blogger con worked well this year. I would love to know if it did.

    • Aw the second one does NOT sound like it was fun, and I am sorry to hear that 🙁 I didn’t go to the Blogger Con, but I really did enjoy BEA in general. It was just so fun to meet so many people, and see all the books, and just have fun! I really hope you do find something that works for you!

  5. Your book haul looks amazing this week but that’s nothing new 🙂 I hope you enjoy the read All The Rage – I thought the concept and message was pretty powerful. Look forward to your BEA posts!

  6. EEE you got All the Rage! I’m so happy for you 😀 I know you were really hoping to get a copy! And I’m also so drooling over The Game of Love and Death – I keep wanting to get it but I tell myself no because I won’t be able to read it right away. Maybe this summer!

Can’t wait to see all the BEA stuff 😉

    • Aw thanks 🙂 I was pretty excited to get a copy (or three. I got three, and I have no idea why so there’s that.) And I don’t know WHY I bought a book right before BEA, so silly! I mean, obviously reading it isn’t going to happen anytime soon! Silliness!

  7. So jealous of your trip to BEA. Can’t wait to read all your posts about it, and see just what you might be giving away. Check out my Sunday Post in the link below.

  8. Ahh, I hope you had a completely epic time at BEA, Shannon! I’m still reeling in jealousy(but seriously, I need pictures of all the books(more than just the one’s I’ve seen by stalking you on Twitter)!).
This week was mildly exciting for me, dyed my hair a new color, did some baking, and a few other things. Okay, it was fairly mediocre but I tried to make it sound interesting! Haha. =)

Can’t wait to read all about your BEA trip!
