Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Breaking the Spine, which spotlights upcoming releases that we simply cannot wait for! This week, I chose Delicate Monsters by Stephanie Kuehn.

From the Morris-Award winning author of Charm & Strange, comes a twisted and haunting tale about three teens uncovering dark secrets and even darker truths about themselves.
When nearly killing a classmate gets seventeen-year-old Sadie Su kicked out of her third boarding school in four years, she returns to her family’s California vineyard estate. Here, she’s meant to stay out of trouble. Here, she’s meant to do a lot of things. But it’s hard. She’s bored. And when Sadie’s bored, the only thing she likes is trouble.
Emerson Tate’s a poor boy living in a rich town, with his widowed mother and strange, haunted little brother. All he wants his senior year is to play basketball and make something happen with the girl of his dreams. That’s why Emerson’s not happy Sadie’s back. An old childhood friend, she knows his worst secrets. The things he longs to forget. The things she won’t ever let him.
Haunted is a good word for fifteen-year-old Miles Tate. Miles can see the future, after all. And he knows his vision of tragic violence at his school will come true, because his visions always do. That’s what he tells the new girl in town. The one who listens to him. The one who recognizes the darkness in his past.
But can Miles stop the violence? Or has the future already been written? Maybe tragedy is his destiny. Maybe it’s all of theirs.
Why I’m Waiting: Visions? Yes please. Also, this sounds like quite the interesting group of characters. And fine, I want to know what these secrets are, for I am nosy. And it seems like there might be some feels involved too, and I like the sound of that.
What are you waiting for this week? Do you feel extra nosy when books talk about secrets, like you have to read it so you know too?

New one for me. I don’t think I’m interested, though. We’ll see. Hope you enjoy this!
Here’s my Wednesday post.
Thanks for sharing, Shannon! Delicate Monsters sounds like the kind of book I’d really enjoy 🙂
Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Here’s my WoW for this week.
This one sounds wonderful, and I really like the cover as well! 🙂
Thanks for sharing this one!
This one does look really intriguing. I hope you enjoy it. here’s mine And as always, my $30 gift certificate giveaway is still on.
I always like books that mention secrets and yes I need to know too. I don’t do the whole visions thing though. I like to know what is real and what isn’t. I don’t really have a waiting book, but I just started Demons and Deadnight and it has a good narrator so far. (in like the one chapter I read)
Sounds good. Hope you enjoy it!
This looks like a good read! Thanks for sharing ~
I just stumbled upon this one yesterday and I also really like the sound of it. Great pick and thanks for sharing!
I just saw this one yesterday on Goodreads and thought it sounded amazing! I love the mystery feel we should get from it, so I really hope it’ll be good!
