Welcome to February’s Monthly Minutes at Midnight!
Here’s the deal: I’ll share the books I’ve obtained, posts of interest from others, giveaways I have happening, and just general random shenanigans. You know I love a shenanigan. Also, covers all link to Goodreads, because I am awesome. As always, I link up with the Wrap Up Round Up, too!

Thanks to the publishers for these!
Shenanigans Since Last Time:
I read 13 books this month. You’d think this would be a decent number but… I have TWENTY (20) review books for February. Because I am bad at this.
There is a lot of win here at least!

Fancy & New Since Last I Saw You!
I love looking at pretty covers! So here are some new ones that I have fallen in love with since our last update!
Pretty covers are pretty.
Things we need to talk about at this juncture:
- February has been a rough one. My family is going through some Big Shit™, so if you are the praying/sending good juju/whatever type… we would sure appreciate some. It isn’t my business to share, so I won’t, but trust that we could very much use whatever good energy you have to spare.
- On a lighter note, Sam’s team won his basketball league! That was fun. He is also finally able to eat food again, so it was a better time for him!
- Conageddon is in two weeks! There is still time to buy tickets, friends! It is going to be the last one, at least for a long time, so… last chance! I am also starting a new job on Tuesday, eep! I am so sad to be leaving the school I had been working at this year, but unfortunately, there are no job openings there for the foreseeable future, so we must do what we must. This is an autism K-2 class so I am both scared and excited!
- Speaking of Conageddon, I made some stuff! I finally got around to making fan edits and I am so mad that it took me so long to do so! Now I have a few hours to finish the ones I want to submit to Conageddon, and had I not been intimidated for so long… but alas. I also could not find a good poster that I liked so… I made one! Fingers are crossed that it turns out okay when printed, but here it is on screen (and I do plan to post it… somewhere!):
Thanks for the shout out!
Congrats to Sam, and good luck with your new job! I hope you love it.
Sending you all the good vibes and juju you can absorb!
That Cuckoo cover is disturbing lol

That is great news for Sam – Hooray for him with the BBall, too. I hope the con is amazing for you. Sorry about whatever is going on with your family. Sending good vibes, prayers, etc. I am kind of excited about the RLS book. I hope it’s amazing.
Sending best wishes and I hope everything turns out okay! ♥ Also, that poster is amazing. The quote along with that reunion scene is just perfect 😍
Oh, I am sorry you have to go through a rough time. Sending good wishes your way. Glad you can find some things to celebrate/look forward to.
Prayers for your family! But glad Sam is doing a bit better it seems and that his team won! I enjoyed Conditions of a Heart. I have so many reviews I need to get out and read, hoping to get some of that done this week. I hope you have a good week!

Ghost Station, and especially In Universes, make me a little envious 😉.
“I read 13 books this month. You’d think this would be a decent number but… I have TWENTY (20) review books for February”
😲 But you did great! I mean, 13 books in a month? plus writing reviews? plus…life?
Coup de Grace sounds wild…
Sorry your family is going through a difficult time right now. I’m not good at attracting good luck to myself, but I’m doing my best to send some your way…maybe it will work better if it’s not for me! Also good luck on the new job, and have fun at Conageddon! (You even found the time to make fanart? I assume you live in an alternate universe where the days last 48 hours? 😂).
I’m sorry your family is having tough times right now, sending all the good vibes I can! And good luck with the new job! It sounds both challenging and rewarding😁 Take care Shannon😁
Thank you for inserting Bellamy into that scene on the poster. 🙂
I’m sending the good juju and wished I was close enough to send a casserole with it. Also, I love how you think reading 65% of your review books is failing. I mean….OK, sure, in school that’s a D, but considering the billion and a half things you’re dealing with right now? I’d have just called the month a wash, honestly.
