I will be giving away a lovely September prize pack! US only, I am afraid, for shipping costs are yikes.
To Break a Covenant by Alison Ames ♦ Your Life Has Been Delayed by Michelle I. Mason
(I have read and enjoyed them both, so look out for my reviews within the next week or so!)
Please be sure to check the terms and conditions
Now hop along to the other stops!!
I’d tell my younger self that even though feeling wanted/needed is a wonderful thing, it is a vulnerability and leaning too hard into that will change who you are as a person. I’d tell her to focus on getting stronger in what she wants and needs out of life, instead. Then, when people want/need her in any capacity, it’s because of fundamentally who she is, not just what she can do for them.
But it’s me, so….I wouldn’t have listened to my advice. 😉
I’d tell myself that I should be myself and not try to be who others think I should be.
have fun
I would tell my younger self, Don’t try to act cool. Don’t let people peer pressure you! Focus on your school work. You can make friends later in life. Don’t worry so much about boys either!
Listen to your parents!
I’d tell myself not to worry about what others think so much.
Well I’m still young but I would probably tell myself to just slow down and enjoy the time that I get to be a kid 🙂
Forget them, follow your dreams!
I think I would tell myself not to worry so much.
I would tell my younger self to learn how not to be so hard on myself.
I would tell my younger self that there are lots of awesome books out there that I’m missing out on. That I’ll regret not having taken advantage of them at a younger age.
Don’t give up on your dreams
Be happy the way you are!
Not to be ashamed of who I am!
I would tell myself not to worry about what other people think and to be myself.
