Welcome to the April 2020 Of Books Giveaway Hop, which I co-host with Lonna @ FLYLēF!

I will be giving away these lovelies!! They are all sequels, two of which I have read and really enjoyed! US only I’m afraid, because money sucks. (Unless you want to pay the extra shipping, that’s up to you!)

My review for June Boys can be found here, and I will be reviewing The Perfect Escape soon, but I definitely enjoyed both!

Please be sure to check the terms and conditions :)

I’m sad because we were supposed to spend a month in Myrtle Beach from March 15-April 15. We got as far as WV and decided we better turn back as everything was getting bad with the virus.

On-line teaching is a challenge, but I do love seeing my kiddos and their pets. We got this!!

Wish everyone would just stay home so we could get through this faster. Every state! Not just the really bad ones.

Here in Michigan, we’re just waiting for the final decisiion about the school year. The news media has leaked “credible” sources that say we are done for this year, which just blows my mind how horrible this pandemic has exploded in our faces. I pray every day and thank those who are on the front lines–the medical personnel, police, firemen, and others. I also pray that everyone who can stay home, stay safe, save lives. Who knew you could be a hero just by staying home?? No capes needed, unless you feel more heroic wearing one. Be safe, be well, Shannon!

I’m glad I’m doing the OWLs readathon, because it keeps me focused on something that’s enjoyable and an escape. I’ve been co-planning a convention for July 2020, since July 2019, and the lack of ability to know whether we’ll be allowed to host it at this point is driving me nuts. I want to be able to give our attendees the heads up, and get refunds if possible, support our vendors, etc etc etc if it turns out to be cancelled, but it looks more and more like we won’t know until early June, which is way too late for people to get refunds on stuff and it’s driving me a little crazy.

I’m doing good. Everyone in my family is healthy. I have done a lot of cleaning, decluttering and reading.

We have had to cancel a lot of plans since the pandemic began. Our families, for the most part, live across the country, so it’s concerning that we are so far away. Looking forward to the end of this.

I feel burnt out. I don’t have the motivation to do ANYTHING anymore. On the bright side, I do still take fur baby to the park every day (because what kind of a “mom” would I be if i didn’t!)

I would love Aru Shah and the Tree of Wishes! I am ok just stressed and lots of anxiety. Hope you are doing well.
