Welcome to the November Of Books Giveaway Hop, which I co-host with Lonna @ FLYLēF!
I will be giving away these lovelies!! US only I’m afraid, because money sucks. (Unless you want to pay the extra shipping, that’s up to you!)
Welcome to the November Of Books Giveaway Hop, which I co-host with Lonna @ FLYLēF!
The first large book I ever read was Gone with the Wind. That book had a large impact on my not being afraid to pick up any size book to read as it was such a good book.
I know a lot of people will say this but Harry Potter. My kids have memories of us going to the theater and watching each new movie as well as going to the book parties for the new books. I have grandkids now and they are just as in to it as we were years ago. Watch it every year multiple times and still have parties for it. It is what is playing as we bake Christmas cookies and wrap.
A movie that I’m grateful exists is While You Were Sleeping because it makes me smile, laugh, swoon, and puts me in a good mood when I need a lift.
The movie that I appreciate so much Anastasia because it is one of my favorite childhood movies and also love the soundtrack.
Can you believe that this dumbass right here *points at herself* entered without checking if it was US only!? So ignore my entries, haha.
But still, I’ll answer your question, because I like it (also, I still *love* the Hunger Games) – I really appreciate Meg Cabot’s novels like Mediator, or the Princess Diaries; I was always a reader but they got me even more into reading, if that makes sense? I was 12 or 13 at the time, and started to stay up all night just to finish her books. 🙂
Can I still sign up to join in this month? I’ve had so much going on that I forgot (& wasn’t sure I could $$$ wise tbh lol)
I’m shocked you picked The 100. SHOCKED. Not….lol
I have a boring choice but Bob’s Burgers. Louise’s snarky little attitude makes me laugh and I try to watch at least one episode of the show everyday.
I still haven’t seen THG movies. *gasp*

pride and prejudice for the writing
The movie Me Before You or The Fault in Our Stars these are the perfect movies when we need a good cry.
The Walking Dead, because zombies :):):)
I am thankful for the Hunger Games. I picked it up off the table at my mother in laws house 6 years ago. It started my addiction to dystopian books and my general love of reading.
I’m thankful for Parks and Recreation because it can always brighten my mood and make me laugh!
I’m thankful for The Expanse book series (and the TV show). It’s a wonderful series that I wouldn’t have picked up on my own because it looked like hard scifi. And my whole family is reading or has read it, so it gives us common ground to discuss at family gatherings, and things to be excited about together.
“The Dog Who Wouldn’t Be” by Farley Mowat was the first book I fell in love with as a child. I still read my well used copy once in a while. Since my Mom and Dad took turns reading to me each night when I was a child, and they did the voices of the characters, I have been a life long lover of all books. I am sure my love of reading also read to my career as a freelance writer.
I guess it would be The Kite Runner because it was really enlightening on what has gone on in Afghanistan
I love Shakespeare because of the writing, the themes, and the characters. Furthermore, think of the impact on the English language, and all the dramas, movies, and books based on his works.
I love the movie, Sense and Sensibility. It wonderful when a classic book is brought to life.
