Top Ten Tuesday is a feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s theme is: Standalone Books That Need a Sequel

I was going to do this the real way, but apparently I have already done that one. And I feel like there are a lot of sequels coming out soon that I am quite keen on reading, so… might as well go with those, yeah? And some of these are out now, but I haven’t read them yet so… they count!

The Coverless/Release Date-less

The Toll (Scythe #3) by Neal Shusterman

Feels (Impostors #2) by Scott Westerfeld

This Vicious Cure (This Mortal Coil #3) by Emily Suvada

Find Me Their Bones (Bring Me Their Hearts #2) by Sara Wolf

So, what sequels are you dying for? Do we share any? Let’s chat about sequels!

  1. I need Immunity. simple as that. The way Contagion ended… *sigh*. And Five Dark Fates- yes!!!!!

I still need to read Bring Me their Hearts, I have it on the shelf waiting to go. Must read faster!

  2. I did mine this week on a similar topic. I haven’t read any of the books on your list yet, but there are so many series I want to see more of… now (please)!

  3. omgg SO many sequels! I’m so perpetually behind on sequels these days I just kind of stare at them and scream. 😂 My biggest issue is always that I need a reread because I’ll have forgotten the first, but I either don’t have time/don’t feel like it so lolol sob, I just stay FOREVER BEHIND. I’m definitely excited for The Curses though! And the next Scythe book whenever that’s coming. Also very much need the sequel for The Brilliant Death!! I’m newly obsessed with it.😍

  4. I need to catch up on the Reichs series. I just requested book 2 from my library. I enjoyed the first one so much more than I anticipated. I also didn’t know Not Even Bones was a series. Now I need to get busy on it too. And Pariah! That series needs more love in the community 🙂 Great list – even if you did make me feel slightly guilty about the books I need to read.

  5. Love your twist on this! Man, I haven’t read any of these series yet. xD I guess I’d better get in gear! The sequel I’m most looking forward to this year is The Toll (book three of Arc of a Scythe) by Neal Shusterman. I’m just dyinggggg with anticipation!
