Parade of Shelfies!

Welcome to #TheShelfieHop!! This is such a fun idea from Crystal @ Bookiemoji & Kristen @ My Friends Are Fiction. This is basically a fabulous excuse to take pictures and share your shelves, but also to get them in order! But… I didn’t really. Oops? Well, that isn’t entirely true. My Hunger Games shelf is on point. And my others don’t look bad, but I had wanted to update the organization. I am hoping that this hop will give me some much needed inspiration! 

So, here we go!

See, the color coordination isn’t working for me anymore, because I have new books that simply don’t work. The left one is the TBR I am most excited about, and the right one is the rest of the TBR.

The Read Shelves

And this is the “read” shelf that holds my non-Hunger Games favorites! The ones I have in physical form, anyway!

    I love that you organise your shelves to TBR and read books! I vaguely organise my shelves by genres and types – mangas, fantasy and sci-fi, contemporary YA, and mystery. I say vaguely ’cause most of my books get mixed up anyway in order to save space, haha.

    so many books on your TBR shelf!! My bookshelf is also divided by sections – tbr shelf, fave shelf, read shelf, manga shelf, and a Lisi Harrison shelf (just because I have too many of her books). my shelves are generally arranged by author. I’d love to do the color-coordinated shelf but I don’t have the patience to do so, hahaha

    They’re gorgeous, Shannon! Your THG shelf is mind-bloggling. I”m someone that cannot own more than one copy of the same book, but I’m so impressed with your collection. I didn’t even realise that the series came in so many different editions! Best of luck getting all those TBR books read… that looks like a project and a half!

    so. many. hunger. games. Haha, girl if that is not a fangirl then I don’t know what is…. I loved how your TBR shelf is absolutely full… us and time management noh? I am weeping deep inside right now because my dad just cancelled the order for our book shelves ( my mom’s and mine) bec. he didn’t like the quality so we are looking AGAIN for more viable options here in my place. Again, weeping…

    Love that Hunger Games shelf! It’s an interesting idea to separate your TBR from your read books, I mostly mix them together, save for a shelf of the TBR that I’m not sure whether I’ll like, so I set them aside before integrating them, LOL.

    I like that you have a TBR shelf and a read shelf. Although I think if I had a TBr shelf I would be overwhelmed by how many books on my shelves that I haven’t read yet. But seriously, your Hunger Games collection is amazing!

    AHHH YOUR SHELVES. <3 Your Hunger Game shelf is beautiful beyond beautifulness…but are you missing a hardcover Hunger Games to go with the red hardcover Catching Fire and blue hardcover Mockingjay? **GASPS** SHANNON YOU NEED FIX THAT. XD
    My shelf is…doomed. It honestly is. I've started wailing and crying every time I get a new book because there is literally no more room left. I'm planning to gift myself shelves soon, but I have to wait until the parentals are going to the city SO YEAH. IN THE MEANTIME I CRY AND READ LIBRARY BOOKS. ahhaahah *dies*

    I’m not sure why it is so deliciously fun to check out other people’s bookshelves… but it totally is. Your HG shelf is a thing of beauty. Love all the different editions. As pretty as the color organization is, I just couldn’t do it. Not having authors/series together would positively keep me up at night. LOL

    This is a FABULOUS event. But I think there’s a typo in your post… I’m pretty sure you meant to type Hunger Games shrine instead of shelf. 😀 I’m trying to decide which of the Hunger Games versions I like best, but they’re all pretty fine to be honest. And wow, your TBR is nothing to be messed with haha. I’d just call it a personal library at that point. Which is what I aspire to have at some point, so basically you’re living the dream. I LOVE color coordinated shelves, but I just can’t do it with my books. I tried, but somehow I don’t have many books in the same colors, and a lot of my series just have dark covers? I don’t know, I’d try reorganizing them again, but I ran out of shelf space. Again. #bookwormstruggles Awesome post, maybe I’ll snap a few pics too!

    Your Hunger Games shelf IS a thing of beauty! Color does seem like it’d be hard to organize! But holy hell, you have a lot of books on your TBR. (I think I have about just as many, we are going to drown in books, Shannon). Also I love seeing so many of my faves on your “read” shelf. LOVE.

    Yayyyy shelvessssssss!!! And yours are glorious!!! I was going to join this, but… well… I only have one shelf. It’s double-stacked so you can only see HALF of the books. Plus I have piles of books on the floor next to it because they don’t fit. Yeah. Not a pretty sight, and not one that I wanted to photograph and share with the world. Maybe someday I’ll get a new shelf!! Or a bigger house so I can have LOTS of new shelves!!! LOL

    Wow, I love your Hunger Games shelf. I am so jealous! I don’t have a huge bookshelf. 90% of my books are on my Kindle. I probably have as many books on my Kindle as you do on your physical shelf. I love that they don’t take up much space. 🙂

    OMG. I need that Hunger Games collection. I only have them in hardcover, but I want all of them. ALL OF THEM.

    Holy moly! I didn’t realize Six of Crows was so huge. And tall!

    I also love all the candles! I have a slight addiction to Bath and Body Works candles. I think right now, I have like fifty or so. I have a ton of duplicates because some of the scents are just so so so good. 🙂

    Anyway. YOUR TBR SHELF IS INSANE LADY. Like, I think I would have to avoid looking at it otherwise it would drive me nuts haha.

    Yay I loved this! You knew what you were saying when you mentioned the hunger games in every edition <3 But if you love it, you love it! It's so nice to see that dedication in there. Actually, HG wasn't my favourite series although I was kind of mhm about books one and three BOOK TWO made it all worth it and I love that thing like crazy! I also now feel better about my TBR pile because I am not the only one with a crazily huge one! I hope you can read your way through it. Your shelves actually look so neat ^.^
