  1. I loved The Cage! I just finished it recently. It was crazy good. I’m really looking forward to reading Made You Up and Emmy & Oliver. I didn’t do this topic this week because I already did it a few weeks ago. I was the rebel this week!

    Michelle @ Michelle’s Minions

    • YAY I am SO glad someone else loves it as much as I did! I know some people were turned off by the weirdness, but I loved it! YAY for being a rebel too- it’s kind of my favorite 😉 Plus I LOVE the topic you chose! Win-win!

  2. BUT YOU DIDN’T CHEAT, SHANNON?!!! ARE YOU FEELING OKAY????? Ahem. I cheated in that I wasn’t able to link up because in a past post I cheated and did this prompt. IF THAT EVEN MAKES SENSE. It probably does not. Either way. hehe.
I love Crown of Midnight!! HECK YES. (Although I read it last year.) I want to read Wrath & Dawn and Made You Up SO SO BADLY. And I totally loved Vanishing Girls. SO FANTASTIC AND SAD. Sadly fantastic? Fantastically sad?
Yes. I’m going now. *slinks away*

  3. Oh my. The sorcery. I was fully expecting you to cheat, because that is literally what happens every Tuesday. BUT IT DID NOT. *gasp* I just read The Wrath and the Dawn, actually, and I’m super sad right now because I was fully expecting to love it and accidentally … did not. *weeps* I’m thinking of checking out Rook just for the gorgeous cover. Should I?

    • I knowwwww. What is wrong with me!? It’s so sad. I will try my best to cheat next week!

NOOOO you did not like it!!? That is sad. SO sad. For I adored it. Did you hate it, or just not love it? And Rook is awesome- it’s about Sunken Paris, so it’s a must 😀

  4. I can’t believe I haven’t read any of these yet!! SO many I want to though. Vanishing Girls is high up there since I love Lauren Oliver (even when I don’t) and Emmy & Oliver because I have not read one single bad review. Great list!!

  5. The Cage has me really curious… love the cover. Same with Rook. And Vanishing Girls… I like Lauren Oliver so I want to red that one, too. Great list!

  6. I loved Vanish Girls! And I tried to read The Sin Eater’s Daughter after drooling over the cover for weeks but I just couldn’t get into it.
I have a few more of these on my TBR list. Great list!

  7. First things first, your blog is gorgeous! Also, this is a great list. I just finished The Wrath and the Dawn and I LOVED it. SO good! I’ve also read Crown of Midnight and The Kiss of Deception and I agree that both of those are great.

  8. Where to start with all the awesome books on your list. The sin eaters daughter I have on my TRL and I actually have a copy to read. I love the cover. Emmy and Oliver I need. I am currently reading The Vanishing Girls and enjoying it. Great picks.

  9. MADE YOU UP! EMMY & OLIVER! THE KISS OF DECEPTION! Oh look Sineater’s Daughter. BUT YAYAYYAYAY. I also have to read the rest of the books on your list. Also I must have missed your review for Vanishing Girls, but YAY glad you loved it 😀

  10. I absolutely loved The Wrath of Dawn, Made You Up and Vanishing Girls as well Shannon – so glad to see that you did too! And I am actually reading Rook next and am crossing my fingers I end up liking it as much as you did. ♥ Thanks for sharing and, as always, fabulous post! xx

  11. I suuuper agree with Vanishing Girls (wasn’t a 5 star book, but it was an incredibly amazing book. The ending left me in tears, damnit! HAIL LAUREN OLIVER!!!!) and Emmy & Oliver, which just might be one of those kind of YAs that easily stick to you for a long, long time. It was quiet, realistic, and so down-to-earth with its characters and story. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

  12. I loved seeing Emmy & Oliver on your list, it is one the most cutest and heartbreaking books I have read this year! 🙂 I actually liked The Sin Eater’s Daughter as well, I felt most people haven’t liked it too much. I liked Made You Up as well, wonderful picks 🙂
