Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. It gives us a chance to share with readers what we bought, borrowed, swapped, won or got for review each week. This week was a slow week. I had been spoiled the past few weeks with purchases and wins and books for review and such, but this week, I have one lonely addition, and here it is (picture links to Goodreads):
Won this via a giveaway from Margie @ Bumbles & Fairytales. So a huge, hugs thanks for this one 🙂
Weekly Shenanigans
This week, I finished reading Grunge Gods and Graveyards by Kimberly G. Giarratano, which I adored. I actually stumbled upon this book from a great review at The Story Goes… and added it to my TBR. Then the author asked if I’d like to review, and since it sounded good, I was in! And it seriously delivered! I am iffy with ghosts and music and such, but it didn’t even matter. This book was great! The full review will be coming, hopefully next week! I also finished Denton Little’s Deathdate by Lance Rubin. This book is so, SO fun! I am not going to say a ton more since it isn’t out until April 2015, but I really enjoyed it!
On the blog this week:
- Sunday brought my review of the final book in The Woodlands series, The Wanted by Lauren Nicolle Taylor. Spoiler: I loved it!
- On Monday, I pretty much demanded that everyone read Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas. And I had no idea how to even rate such a thing!
- Tuesday’s Top Ten was all about books I want to read, but sadly do not own yet.
- This Wednesday, I was waiting for the release of Patrick Ness’s upcoming book, The Rest of Us Just Live Here. Because, Patrick. Ness. Oh and I also subjected you to a ridiculous fake graphic.
- The Jewel by Amy Ewing blog tour via FFBC went live on Thursday! The post includes my gushing review (despite some insta-love!), the trailer, book/author info, and a giveaway!!
- On Friday, I had to reach out for help before I lost my mind vis-à-vis my commenting system. I am definitely planning on checking out the suggestions!
