Stacking the Shelves (15)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. It gives us a chance to share with readers what we bought, borrowed, swapped, won or got for review each week.

This week was kind of fantastic. I won three books, and bought a few more, and found a few freebies, so I am pretty thrilled with my new (unnecessary) additions to my shelves! So, without further ado, the books!

Physical Books:
(Pictures link to Goodreads)

I won this from Amy Rolland and Bethany Crandell‘s joint giveaway!! So, of course, huge thanks to them both 🙂

I won Fan Art from Christina @ Books Are Life Reviews, so a huge thanks to her as well!

This one I just bought because I have been wanting to read it for ages. Obviously, there were gift cards involved.

Kindle Books:
Shiver: Free download, randomly on my Google Play home screen, as though it knew I was addicted to YA books.
Breeder: Won via the most amazing ladies at Band of Dystopian Authors and Fans
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer: Bought via Kindle Daily Deal, which is good because I had the second book but not the first!

I didn’t know these existed until this week, and since I am in the middle of Siege and Storm, obviously I needed these. You can find them all on Goodreads, which will then lead you to their sources!
So, that’s it for me this week! Pretty great week overall, especially with some awesome wins from fabulous authors and bloggers. What did you add to your shelves this week?

  1. I’ve heard some really good things about Fanart! I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as everyone else. I also have to try to find a copy of NIL from the library! It sounds entertaining.
Enjoy your fab books this week. 🙂

  2. I’m so glad you got The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer and Shiver! Both are such good books. I haven’t read Nil or Summer on the Short Bus, but both are on my bookshelf, waiting to be read. 🙂 Enjoy your new books!

  3. Lucky you, great wins you’ve gotten.
I read lots of fantasy too but am afraid Stiefvater’s Shiver is not quite enticing to me. Now Leigh Bardugo’s trilogy I have yet to read though!

    • Oh, you MUST read The Grisha trilogy. I mean, I am only halfway done, but I am so completely captivated! Honestly, I am unsure about Shiver too, but I figure it might surprise me, plus it’s nice to have a book on my phone for long waits and such 😉

    • I did add the trilogy on my TBR pile, I don’t know when I’ll get around to reading it though. I am just now reading Rossi’s trilogy *gasp* so.

    • Thanks! I have read a lot of mixed reviews for Fan Art, but I am hoping I’ll like it. And I have heard good things about Summer on the Short Bus too- it just looks so fun!

  4. Nil is a really fun read! I’m looking forward to seeing what you think of it! And I’ve heard nothing but glowing reviews for Shiver, Fan Art and The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, so I hope you enjoy them too! 🙂

Thanks for sharing and happy reading Shannon! <3

    • Oh, I am so happy to hear that you liked Nil! I have been excited for it for so, so long! I had won a copy, but then it never came, so after I waited for awhile, I just went ahead and bought it! I will definitely share my thoughts 🙂 Thanks so much!
