Goodreads

304 pages

Expected publication: June 17th 2014 by HMH Books for Young Readers

From Goodreads:

In book three of the Testing series, the United Commonwealth wants to eliminate the rebel alliance fighting to destroy The Testing for good. Cia is ready to lead the charge, but will her lethal classmates follow her into battle? She wants to put an end to the Testing In a scarred and brutal future, The United Commonwealth teeters on the brink of all-out civil war. The rebel resistance plots against a government that rules with cruelty and cunning. Gifted student and Testing survivor, Cia Vale, vows to fight. But she can’t do it alone. This is the chance to lead that Cia has trained for – but who will follow? Plunging through layers of danger and deception, Cia must risk the lives of those she loves–and gamble on the loyalty of her lethal classmates. Who can Cia trust? The stakes are higher than ever-lives of promise cut short or fulfilled; a future ruled by fear or hope–in the electrifying conclusion to Joelle Charbonneau’s epic Testing trilogy. Ready or not…it’s Graduation Day. The Final Test is the Deadliest!

Why I’m waiting: Honestly? I need to know how it all ends! This isn’t even like, my favorite series. But I like it enough to need a conclusion. And while I do have some issues with the series, I do find it to be entertaining and enjoyable, so of course I need to read the conclusion!

What are you waiting for this week?

  1. I haven’t had the chance to read any of this series. It sounds really interesting though. What other books would you compare it to? Have a great week!

    • It is decent. At times it made me angry, but I just couldn’t put it down! I have many mixed emotions on it, honestly. But, I can’t leave the ending unread, so I need it!

    • Good call on reading them all together! I seriously don’t remember where Independant Study left off. And I definitely don’t have the time or desire for a re-read. Oops?

  2. I haven’t tried this series at all, but I really really want to!!! I drool over them on Goodreads occasionally and then remember how BIG my tbr is right now. *eyes TBR sadly* One of these days….

    • My TBR is insane too. And the worst/best part is, we will never, ever catch up, because new awesome books will keep coming out, and we won’t be able to read as fast as they’re published 😉
