Top Ten Tuesday is a feature over at The Broke and the Bookish. . This week’s theme is “Top Ten Books On My Spring 2014 TBR (To-Be-Read) List”. There were so, so many to choose from, because this spring has a ton of really promising releases! I should note, some of these are already out, I just haven’t been able to read them yet! So, without further ado, and in absolutely no particular order:
*Disclaimer: I totally cheated again. This time, it was because there was no easy way to make 10 covers fit appropriately. I probably could have tried harder, but I opted to cheat and share extra books instead. I’m not even that sorry.
I’m reading Panic right now and it’s… okay. I’m not super hooked on it yet and I’m about a fourth of the way though. I hope it gets better, but I really don’t know how it’s going to go. I’m also really, really hoping to get my hands on The Winner’s Curse and Nil ASAP because both of those books have caught my attention lately. I’m totally intrigued by them.
Here’s My Top Ten Tuesday!
I keep hearing this about Panic, and it saddens me. I really hope I am one of the (seemingly few!) who likes it, but I am getting less and less hopeful. I read the Amazon sample of both The Winner’s Curse and Nil, and it made me want them SO much more! I am probably going to break down and buy them in the next few days. Off to check out your list!
City of Heavenly Fire!! I keep forgetting that this book is coming out, and then it’s the last book in the series. AHHH. So excited for it to finally be over… in a good way of course!

I am excited for it to be over too, but it might be in a bad way? Like, I am just kind of over it by now, but I really want to know what happens!
I want to read Grasshopper Jungle. Although I am a little scared because I don’t even really get what it’s supposed to be about… but I think that is kind of the point, so I don’t want to think about it too much. I know I loved Winger, so I’m definitely going to read it 🙂 I just finished Sunrise!! It’s really good… and LOOOONG. But you get to see what happens to Alex and Darla and fam over the next 3 years! Great List 🙂

Oh, you have me WAY too excited for Sunrise! I pre-ordered the hardcover, and I am like, stalking my email for the “Amazon has shipped your order” email. Now I am second-guessing myself and want to just buy the Kindle copy because, you know, instant gratification.
I really liked Panic. I’ve wanted to read the Partials series for a while now, but I just haven’t gotten around to it. Fire and Flood sounds really good.

Yay, so glad someone liked Panic! Hope reinstated! The Partials series started off slow for me, I really took awhile to warm up to it, but then it got good!
I am the same about Panic as Ashley. It’s okay, but not amazing. I hope you enjoy it though. I can’t wait to read The Winner’s Curse! Great list.
Oooo, I am excited to read Grasshopper Jungle and The Winner’s Curse too! I read Fire and Flood and it was . . . interesting. It was a book I liked even though I felt like maybe I shouldn’t like it so much, haha. I hope you get a chance to check it out.
I will probably do Fire and Flood next just because I own it. I am fine with a guilty pleasure! I hope you get to read the others too!
Gah, The Winner’s Curse is SO GOOD. I also really loved Panic. I know a lot of people didn’t, but I really really did. There was something about it that grabbed me. 🙂 And I’m so excited for After The End!
Oh, I am glad you loved Panic! It gives me hope! Because I know I am going to end up reading it regardless. Maybe my lowered expectations will even help me like it?
Such a great spring TBR list! I didn’t actually make one. I’m not good at following directions or forcing myshelf to read certain books.
I love this answer! I will confess that since I have started doing these lists, I keep cheating, so I am right there with you 😉
Such a great list. Panic is wonderful and Graduation Day is…well you are in for a ride! I hope you love all the books!
Oh, now I am excited for Graduation Day!! I am probably going to order Panic soon too.
