Loom-Insta-2

I am super excited to be bringing you the amazing new cover and synopsis of Elise Kova’s newest book in brand new seriesThe Alchemists of Loom comes out in January, and sure that may be so far away I want to cry, but at least we can see the cover, right? Right! (Plus, there’s always more Air Awakens while you wait. 😉  In fact, the first ebook is on sale for 99 cents right now, at all retailers, so off you go, if you haven’t already)

Now, this cover is BAD. ASS. I won’t make you wait any longer, here is the synopsis and cover!!

The Alchemists of Loom by Elise Kova
Series: Loom Saga #1
Published by Keymaster Press on January 10th 2017
Pages: 352

Her vengeance. His vision.

Ari lost everything she once loved when the Five Guilds’ resistance fell to the Dragon King. Now, she uses her unparalleled gift for clockwork machinery in tandem with notoriously unscrupulous morals to contribute to a thriving underground organ market. There isn’t a place on Loom that is secure from the engineer turned thief, and her magical talents are sold to the highest bidder as long as the job defies their Dragon oppressors.

Cvareh would do anything to see his sister usurp the Dragon King and sit on the throne. His family’s house has endured the shame of being the lowest rung in the Dragons’ society for far too long. The Alchemist Guild, down on Loom, may just hold the key to putting his kin in power, if Cvareh can get to them before the Dragon King’s assassins.

When Ari stumbles upon a wounded Cvareh, she sees an opportunity to slaughter an enemy and make a profit off his corpse. But the Dragon sees an opportunity to navigate Loom with the best person to get him where he wants to go.

He offers her the one thing Ari can’t refuse: A wish of her greatest desire, if she brings him to the Alchemists of Loom.

About Elise Kova

Elise Kova has always had a profound love of fantastical worlds. Somehow, she managed to focus on the real world long enough to graduate with a Master’s in Business Administration before crawling back under her favorite writing blanket to conceptualize her next magic system. She currently lives in St. Petersburg, Florida, and when she's not writing can be found playing video games, watching anime, or talking with readers on social media. She is the author of the Air Awakens Series as well as the upcoming Loom Saga (Keymaster, 2017).

SO! What do we think? Who else is incredibly excited about this brand new series? I know I am! Knowing there’s new and shiny things coming makes the end of the Air Awakens series sting just a tiny bit less.

Does finding out a new series is coming from an author you love make saying goodbye to a series you love easier for you too?

  1. I’m still in awe of that cover. So gorgeous!
    And that synopsis!! A+!
I’m always excited to hear about a new series coming from a favorite author, but I still feel sad because I grow so attached to characters. It’s like saying bye to friends. 🙁

  2. No, the end to a favorite series, if it is done well and not like the Morganville Vampires series for example, it is always a big blow that throws me straight into a reading slump. I always dread reading the last book in a favorite series, because then it will be over.

  3. This is an automatic preorder hahahah. But I also need to get on with buying the rest of the Air Awakens series, in paperback of course. The covers are just too gorgeous to pass up on 🙂

  4. I haven’t read any of this author her books yet, but her covers sure are stunning. I like the colors used on the cover and how it gives off a bit of an atmospheric feel. The character on the cover almost looks a bit alien with those purple eyes and grey-ish skin. It is a cover that makes me curious about where the book is about.
