Top Ten Tuesday is a feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s theme is: Top Ten 2016 Debuts Novels We Are Looking Forward To

Look, I have a lot of these. Narrowing it down is evil. EVIL. I have also read a few that are fabulous. So, I shall break it down by season. And also, I am not linking to Goodreads, because I simply don’t have time. There are just too many fabulous debuts! You can find them all right here though.

Oh, and there is basically no rhyme or reason to how I did the seasons, other than “They Fit in this Collage”. ::Shrugs:: And I guarantee that I forgot a few that I really wanted to add, so sorry!! 🙁  And who knows, a non-debut could have even slipped in here. I make no guarantees 😉

And here are some lovelies that I simply cannot wait to dive into. Or have dove into. Or whatever.

Anyway, I clearly multiplied this week’s task by at least 5. How about you? Any debuts that you’re particularly excited for?

  1. OMG YOU ORGANISED IT BY SEASON. :’) You are such a fabulous thing. Basically I want them all. Is that okay? I didn’t plan to have a life next year or anything anyway. I can just read. *nods*

  2. This is a great idea! I love it, and there are lots of books on your list I haven’t added to my TBR so that’s gonna keep me busy today. XD

BTW, if you love Harry Potter and you are interested in writing a collaborative story set in Hogwarts, please check out this link for details and how to join. Thank you!

  3. Sam

I love seeing all those beautiful books organized by season. And I MUST give a shout out to The Love That Split the World. I just finished it this weekend, and I swear, I get chills just thinking about that ending!

  4. I love that you organised these by season, Shannon, even if the seasons are the opposite for me (#aussieproblems). There are just so many good debuts coming out in 2016—it’s not fair!

  5. OMG OMG OMG you have After the Woods. I am so jealous! I hope it’s amazing because I am really looking forward to that one 🙂 Happy Reading!

  6. I feel like I’m going to be swimming in a pile of books next year. This is without a doubt the most detailed list of debut books for 2016 and I’m so excited about a lot of these books. The Girl From Everywhere is probably at the top of my most anticipated list. I think it’s safe to say time travel is the latest trend to hit YA fiction and I’m excited/nervous to see if they deliver the goods haha.

  7. Oh my God. I can’t believe how many amazing looking books are coming out in 2016. You’ve made me want to read them ALL. Too many books, too little time! Ha. Great list, Shannon.

  8. Such beautiful collages. The kind that makes a book lover’s heart flutter. 🙂 You know the title The Smell of Other’s People’s Houses had me looking that one up, right? The Reader looks very interesting as well. All of the books do really. My wish list thanks you. My bank account does not. 😉

  9. Some of those covers are amazing, especially when linked together in a collage like that. Nice one! I like the first one especially, looking forward to Into the Dim (seeing that one a lot) and the cover of Underwater is so cool even though I have no idea what it’s about. LOL. 2016 may be the year of great cover art along with all the YA releases that look so good… 🙂

  10. WOW WHAT THE HECK YOU TOTALLY CHEATED YOU LITTLE…blah. Hey look it’s the Summer of Sloane!

I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO ASSASSIN’S HEART BECAUSE MY NAME WILL BE IN IT.

  11. I love this. Absolutely love this. AHH! So many shinny, beautiful books. I love that you divided it by season! 🙂 Thanks for the recommendations, too!

  12. AHH. These all sound absolutely amazing Shannon! I am so excited for each and every one of these as well. xD Especially The Girl from Everywhere because OMG that synopsis sounds amazing. Thanks for sharing and, as always, fabulous choices!

  13. The Love That Split the World! This is Where it Ends! Assassin’s Heart! The Crown’s Game! There’s so many good ones on your list. I can’t wait to get my hands on them in 2016! You have a really nice pile of ARCs btw! Hope you enjoy them 🙂

  14. Ooh, no wonder your TTT was taking so long! You went all out and divided them into seasons! With little cute graphics! I love them.

So many pretty books. I left a lot of these off my list because, um, I was attempting to do some under the radar esque books (didn’t go quite as well, ha). I am seriously dying to read TLTSTW, The First Time She Drowned, The Art of Not Breathing, Lessons In Falling and Girl In Pieces.

I haven’t heard of Mirror In The Sky or The Cresswell Plot but they have pretty covers so I need to look them up right now.

And good news! You didn’t multiple this week’s TTT by 5, only more like 4.5. 😉

  15. OMG great list!! Winter: Most excited for TLTSTW, Into the Dim, After the Woods, and Blackhearts. Spring: Rebel, First Time She Drowned, and The Star-Touched Queen. Summer: The Marked Girl, The Crown’s Game, and Mirror in the Sky are ones I’m so excited for too!!

Also can’t wait for Ever the Hunted, Caraval, Even if the Sky Falls, Please Don’t Tell, How To Hang A Witch, and Ivory and Band!

  16. Due to my TBR that has grown from a pile to a mountain to an island, all I can do is look at the pretty covers. No TTT post for me this week. :/

I LOVE LOVE LOVE how you grouped your books by the seasons! There are so many beautiful covers! … You are just trying to torment me with all these lovelies, Shannon. You meanie. But hey, if my TBR island becomes it’s own country, you are always welcome! 😀

  17. Bahaahaha oh Shannon. “basically there is no rhyme orreason to how I did the seasons, other than “They Fit in this Collage” (currently laughing). AND JEEZ THAT IS A LOT OF BOOKS! Alright- let’s go! I read Firsts and Beyond the Red. I have an ARC of Shallow Graves, This is Where it Ends, The Mystery of Hollow Places, and Burning Glass. I am SUPER EXCITED TO READ Assassin’s Heart, The Girl From Everywhere, The Star Touched QUeen, Seven Ways We Lie, The Marked Girl, The Crown’s Game, Summer of Sloane, A Shadow Bright and Burning, Learning to Swear in America, The Reader, and Fear the Drowning Deep! 😀

  18. “Blackhearts” sounds good! I had forgotten about that one as well, but yeah, it sounds intriguing… if I remember right. 😉 Clearly I’ve been looking up too many books on GR.

Thanks so much – as always, for visiting Dreaming Under the Same Moon, Shannon. 🙂

  19. Why have one when you can have them all, right??? lmao. OOH. ARROWS. Don’t mind me, just plotting way to smuggle an ARC through a screen. 😉

ALSO DYING FOR LIARS AND LOSERS LIKE US. THERE IS A TIARA ON THE FRONT COVER AND IT’S ABOUT PROM. (I’ve never been to prom! Prob my greatest life regret.) NEED X10000.

  20. I love that you broke things into seasons. There are so many debuts I want to read next year – and yeah, sometimes I can’t tell if books are a debut or not. Oh well, still want to read! hah

  21. Oh my gosh, this post makes me want to hug all those pretty covers! I can’t wait for The Crown’s Game, Rebel of the Sands, Star Touched Queen and Assassin’s Heart! All fantasy of course. Thanks for splitting them up into seasons too 🙂

  22. SO.MANY.BOOKS. I have to do so much stuff with work and life but I just want to curl up in my bed and read. I just busted out my notebook and made a list from this post so yeah, I’m screwed haha! Thanks for this post, and you organized it by season! Anyway, this blogging thing is making me really happy right now and so many things are happening! I just want to thank you again, for encouraging me when I was starting. You were wonderful, and still are! Happy holidays Shannon!

  23. I know how you feel! There are so many good books coming up next year and I just want to read them all ;.; I hope you get a chance to read them and love them as well! The Love that Split the World is one I am so intrigued about DD:
